Open to everyone regardless of gender or sexuality, GearUp is your chance to come and enjoy the living art of fetish gear, latex, leather, neoprene and much much more 
This will be our 7th official pre-Sydney-Mardi-Gras GearUp, and it is one of the highlights of our year to be able to open our doors and welcome kinksters from around Australia (and the world) before we take to the streets in the parade on Saturday.
So without further ado, we would like to invite you to…
Socialise and enjoy the view in a purpose built fetish art gallery.
Meetup with friends in town for the epic Sydney Mardi Gras season.
Join in with SYD-PAH who are hosting a pup play area (tails welcome).
Snap some memories with our event photographer – Roberto Duran Photography.
Get your boots shined by one of the amazing boot blacks, and don’t forget to tip!
Polish up your rubber at our latex shining station.
Test out the spanking benches and other kinky furniture.
Go for a shibari test drive and see what it’s like on a rope ride.
Stay cool in the fully air-conditioned space, or step outside and enjoy the balcony.

EVENT DETAILS
Location: To be emailed to ticketholders approximately 48 hours before the event. Innerwest location and easily accessible by public transport.
Dress Code: Fetish / Kink / Leather / Latex / Formal. Please make an effort!
Play: Multiple dedicated play spaces. So whether you are into impact play, medical, rope, or any type of BDSM play then we have you covered.
Bar: Please BYO alcohol or choice of poison and check it behind the bar with our friendly professional staff. All soft drinks and mixers supplied and includes the following; Soda Water, Tonic Water, Cranberry Juice, Orange Juice, Sparkling Apple Juice, Ginger Beer, Creaming Soda, Lemon Squash (Sugar Free), Lemonade (inc. Sugar Free option), Coke Zero, Diet Coke and Coke.
Smoking: There is an outdoor smoking area (strictly no smoking/vaping inside).
Coat Check: No charge, just leave your coats or bags with our staff at the door. We upgraded the coat check in 2024 to make life easier for all but appreciate your patience with bags / coats etc. We have 1 changing room upstairs (near the bathrooms) but if you can arrive in your gear that makes more time for fun and less time in queues!
Security: There will be no tickets for sale on the door. If you’re not on the list, no entry. No exceptions. Please also make sure you are dressed appropriately when entering and leaving the premises – and respect its neighbours!
Accessibility: The venue is now wheelchair accessible, but we ask that you email after purchasing your ticket/s so that we are prepared upon your arrival and can make the necessary arrangements.
Behaviour: At GearUp, consent isn’t merely acknowledged; it’s an expectation, as it serves as the foundational principle of all ethical BDSM play. Guests at GearUp are expected to uphold the principles of FRIES Consent Model (Freely Given, Reversible, Informed, Enthusiastic, and Specific). The GearUp / DVNT Events Team retains the authority to remove or deny entry to any individual breaching these guidelines or at their discretion.
Ticket Transfers: Tickets are non-refundable, however name transfers are allowed as long as we are contacted by email 72 hours before the event starts. Please note this event is in peak Mardi Gras season and communication from the event team (which is just Lani De Viate) may be limited during this time so she appreciates your patience.
